This study aims to disseminate the main research achievements of the Samsung Smart School project in its 2016-17 edition. Its main objective is to assess the impact that the use of tablets has on students’ academic performance, in particular on the improvement of three competences identified as key for the twenty-first century: Language and communication competence, digital competence and the competence to learn to learn.
