The 11th edition of the Innovation Academy is coming up!
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The largest public-private educational partnership in the country between organizations from the private, academic, public, and NGO sectors will once again award the most innovative youth projects. The project is dedicated to the development of entrepreneurial skills in students and financing their first business ideas. In 2024, it will be carried out for the eleventh consecutive year in the form of a hackathon, where Bulgarian students will shape their first business projects and develop prototypes of their ideas.
Goal
The main goal of the Innovation Academy is to become an extended center for shared knowledge among universities in Bulgaria, following the model of the innovation centers of the Ivy League universities.
Historically, the project started in 2014 in partnership with one university in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, and by 2024, it is already being conducted on a national scale, in partnership with over 15 universities and training centers and 50 partners.
The project is realized with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.
Structure
The project is divided into 3 main modules – 1/ mentorship, 2/ lectures, 3/ presentation of ideas.
The event is free for students from all over the country, but pre-registration HERE is required.
