BULGARIA: THE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION IS RECRUITING PARTICIPANTS FOR ITS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The Professional Association of Robotics and Automation (PARA) is recruiting participants for the second time for its educational program, PARA Robotics Incubator. Participants in the program will receive mentorship guidance, hardware, and access to specialized equipment in laboratories. The main goal of the program is for participants to create their own working prototype based on a pre-established project, thereby stimulating entrepreneurship.
To enroll in the program, participants must be at least 14 years old and have basic programming skills. Within the six-month program, each participant is expected to complete their prototype. Projects that are encouraged should focus on the areas of robotics, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, and intelligent solutions for urban environments.
The program will culminate in 10 selected projects, which will be presented to a jury, with the winner of the student group receiving a prize of 2,000 lev and the winner of the student projects group receiving a prize of 4,000 lev.
Thanks to sponsors from “Sofia Tech Park” and “Rezonator,” access to equipment and resources in Sofia will be provided, while in Varna, Vidin, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Ruse, equipment will be provided by other partners of PARA.
The deadline for application is February 20, and the selected 10 projects will begin their participation in the program on March 6.
