CONTEST FOR EVENT IDEAS ON PROGRAMMING AND DIGITAL SKILLS TO THE INITIATIVE “MEET AND CODE” IS OPEN

Until 13.9.2023 NGOs and community centres from all over the country can apply to the competition of the largest European initiative for digital education – “Meet and Code”. The Bulgarian partner is the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Initiative will provide funding of up to 580 BGN for an organised event on coding and digital skills. The aim is to provoke interest in digital skills among young people in our country. Participants can send their ideas for events promoting coding and various digital skills among children and young people aged 8 to 24.

The events will be planned from 1st September to 31st October 2023, with a focus on the European Programming Week (7th – 22nd October). The funded events are free for all. An event must involve a minimum of 20 people and last a minimum of 4 hours. Organisations can submit several different event ideas.

This year, event approval will be on a first-come, first-served basis. You can find useful resources, presentations, toolkits and links in English and English for different stages of learning – from beginner to advanced – in the Inspiration Library.
