Cities are key actors in mitigating climate change and shaping the green transition through regulatory services and skills. Using the concept of smart and green cities in existing and new urban environments contributes to achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal.
This report presents Cedefop’s foresight study on skills, which looked at occupations and skills that help cities become smarter and greener, as well as the role of VET in their development.
