The report describes a pilot project launched to develop and test a structured programme that enables small and medium-sized enterprises’ employees and unemployed persons to acquire the digital skills required in the modern workplace.
To represent diversity within the European Union, two very different regions, the Region of Murcia in Spain and Lithuania were selected as testbeds for the pilot programmes on Digital Skills.
The work undertaken drew upon inputs from a wide range of stakeholders and the results have fed into the Digital Skills Blueprints that are at the heart of the report.
