This report has been published in the context of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition. Its main objective is to present how enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), could increase their digital capability. This includes the competencies of both managers and staff, as well as the use of relevant organisational (and business) processes.
The publication also shows how an appropriate combination of ability, competencies, methods, tools and technologies can be achieved. The key lesson is that success is enabled by competencies and professionalism at the individual and team level and by organisational capabilities at the enterprise level.
