This publication seeks to expose some of the biases related to the woman role in the technology sector. It puts forward ideas to begin closing a digital skills gender gap that is, in most parts of the world, wide and growing.
The paper consists of three parts – the policy paper outlining the persistence and severity of the digital skills gender gap, the think piece 1 explaining the information and communications technology (ICT) gender-equality paradox, and the think piece 2 examining how Artificial Intelligence (AI) voice assistants projected as young woman perpetuate harmful gender biases.
