Given the importance of digitalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the EIB’s Innovation Finance Advisory Unit, in cooperation with the European Investment Advisory Hub and in close cooperation with DG Connect (EC) of the European Commission, prepared this study to review the conditions of access to finance for the digitalisation of SMEs and the role of Digital Innovation Hubs as key enablers in the wider ecosystem.
